Someone to listen.
Right now.
Ill Just Listen is an AI listener you can talk to at 3am, when the whole world is asleep and you don't want to bother anyone. It listens, remembers what matters to you, and never gets tired of you.

Most of us don't need advice. We need to be heard once, properly.
Talking helps. Not because someone fixes it, but because saying it out loud makes it smaller. That is the entire idea here.
It listens first
No interruption, no "have you tried yoga". It reflects what you said, asks one gentle question, and lets you get to the real thing at your own speed.
It remembers you
Tell it about your sister, your job, the thing you're dreading on Thursday. Next time you come back, you don't start from zero — you start from where you left off.
It knows its limits
If you're in danger, it stops and points you to real help — 988, 741741, 911. It never diagnoses, never prescribes, and never claims to be a therapist.
What it is
A patient, warm, always-available place to put your thoughts down — with memory, so it can follow your life instead of resetting every session.
- A listening companion for the ordinary hard days
- A place to think out loud and hear it back
- Cheaper and quieter than an emergency and less lonely than a notes app
- Available when the people in your life are asleep
What it isn't
We would rather lose a sale than let anyone believe this is healthcare.
- Not a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or doctor
- Not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or medical advice
- Not a crisis line, an emergency service, or a human being
- Not a replacement for people, or for professional care
It remembers, so you don't have to repeat yourself
Memory is what turns a chatbot into something that feels like a relationship. Here is the sort of thing it keeps — and you can read and delete every line.
You can add, edit, or delete any memory from the memories panel in the app.
If tonight is the bad kind of night
This app can sit with you, but it cannot keep you safe. If you are thinking about ending your life or hurting yourself, please use a real line — a person will answer.
How the listener handles crisis
If your words suggest you might be in danger, it stops the normal conversation, asks whether you are safe right now, and puts real numbers in front of you. It will not try to talk you out of getting help, and it will not promise to keep a plan secret.
Questions people actually ask
Is this therapy?
No. Ill Just Listen is an AI conversation tool. It is not a therapist, psychologist, doctor, or crisis line, and it cannot diagnose or treat anything. If you need clinical care, a licensed professional is the right call — and we will always point you there.
Is it free?
Yes — 25 messages a day, with memory, free. No card. A paid plan for heavy users is coming later; everything on the site today is on the free plan.
Does it remember me?
Yes, when you ask it to. It keeps a short list of things you have told it — people in your life, what you are going through, what helps — and you can read and delete any of it on the memories screen.
What if I am in crisis?
Tell it plainly, or call 988 (US) or your local emergency number. The listener is built to stop and hand you real-world help, but it is software: it cannot send anyone to you, and it cannot keep you safe.
Is what I say private?
Your conversations are stored so the listener can remember them for you, tied to your account, and not sold. Read the privacy page for the specifics, including how to delete everything.
It's quiet tonight. You don't have to be alone in it.
Start with one sentence. That's all it takes.
